Very Important Pholks
(VIP Seniors)
The VIP's (Very Important Pholks) promote and enhance Christian
fellowship among seniors. Not limited to Cypress Church members, we
serve as an outreach to the community, as well.
A variety of activities are enjoyed together, with the hope that
friendships will develop and individuals will augment our events with
casual get-togethers. All seniors (55 and over) are cordially invited to
participate in VIP activities.
Luncheons
One Saturday each month, a VIP luncheon is held in the Cypress Church
gym. A delicious meal is followed by an enjoyable program. Those
attending for the first time are our guests, free of charge. Otherwise,
there is a charge per person.
Out-of-Town Trips
Our trips have included concert outings to Mount Hermon Christian
Conference Grounds, overnight trips to the Crystal Cathedral in Garden
Grove for Christmas and Easter pageants, and tours to Branson, Missouri
and New England.
